But first, we must find a connection within ourselves
and dare to seek the stillness within.

Many of these things sound serious, and yet I am convinced that this seriousness also contains something very light and playful, beautiful and joyful.
I hope you can always rediscover this joy and this lightness.
– Eva Kalien

Here Are Questions That Other Artists Have Frequently Asked Prior To Joining…
(If we haven’t answered yours, feel free to reach out to the Fibre Arts Take Two team at support@fibreartstaketwo.com and ask away!)
YES! This course was filmed and delivered by Eva Kalien in German. Eva then re-recorded the entire course for you in English with the help of our German production team. We then diligently added the English voice-over on top of the course footage. For this reason, you may notice slight pauses in the audio and that the footage does not precisely lip-sync. This is not a fault and can not be avoided.
If you would like this course delivered in German – please email us after you have enrolled, and we will add the German version to your course portal. Subtitles are available in French, German, English and Spanish. The resource guides are currently in English and may be translated to German in the near future should there be substantial uptake in German enrolments.
A list of Minimum requirements can be downloaded here: Materials List
A full list of materials is supplied once enrolled.
Poetry and Place has been meticulously organised to help serve all walks – even for those who aren’t overly tech savvy. (One of the biggest differentiators we continually hear is how well organised and easy to consume the course is, plus how top-notch our customer service is!) So know that we make it simple for you to get what you need – and we are ALWAYS just a message away. You can access everything wherever you feel most comfortable – your computer, phone, or tablet.
YES, YOU DO! Not only will you receive Eva’s personal feedback and support as you work through the class during the first 8 weeks after your enrolment within a private Facebook group. You will also get two live, virtual Q&A sessions where Eva can offer more personal feedback A translator will be available to help during these sessions should Eva wish to express herself in German. Everything will be recorded and yours to keep for future access.
Not at all. This course was created with you in mind – the creative who wants to watch in your own time hit pause, re-watch, take a break, and then return for more! While you will receive live support during the first eight weeks of enrolment to cheer you on and help you through the art you make, know that there is no set schedule to complete this course – plus, you’ll have all the material for life!
Because we have students from all around the world – we have geolocation set up to try and accommodate where we can! Therefore, we currently accept USD, AUD, GBP, Euro and NZD… with more to come! And if your currency wasn’t mentioned, your bank will still automatically convert it to your local currency once the charge goes through.
(And on the topic of being international, Fibre Arts Take Two, the course producers, are based in Australia… hence the spelling of things like fibre, realise and enrol!)
Of course! From the moment you join us – you will receive the entire 7-module course, which includes over 9 hours of beautifully filmed content with lifetime access, including downloadable PDF resource guides. You’ll also be welcomed into our online community, where you can introduce yourself and meet all your other new, aspiring, and growing artists. Once you’re all settled into your new digital home, you will meet Eva with your fellow classmates for two live Q&A calls – We can’t wait to see you there!
Not at all. You will have full access to the course via your online portal. We will stream the live Q&A calls on YouTube and give regular email updates of the most FAQs from the group to those not on Facebook to ensure an inclusive experience. It is important to note that we offer a closed Facebook group for enrolled students only to connect and share their journey for a lifetime.
Being a group member allows the opportunity to gain further insights and guidance from Eva and other students. This group is not compulsory but is highly recommended!
Absolutely! The course content is fully responsive, so it will work regardless of whether you’re on a computer or mobile device. All you need is an internet connection.
Good question! You’ll be able to post your questions about the course in our private Facebook group; either someone from the community, Fibre Arts Take Two or Eva herself, can help you.

A FINAL NOTE FROM EVA
“ Before we begin, my wish and hope for you are that you learn to trust your own intuition and get a feeling for how delicate and subtle a conversation with one’s own work of art can be and how beautiful.
I think it’s important to realise at the beginning that art doesn’t develop in the head and that art is a very fragile substance with a lot to do with the heart.
The steps my artistic approach shows are often not understood and cannot be grasped with the head. And it is important and further to trust that things will always go on and that there will always be transformations that bring something new and unexpected.
I look forward to sharing with you my great love for nature, silence and poetry. In all these components, I somehow always found and still find the same theme: the fine attention to what lies in between, that there is beauty and intimacy that lies hidden. I have also found that time, being able to wait, observing and listening are very important qualities.
In the north, the amber collectors, to whom I count myself, say: you can’t look for amber. But when you’re in the mood to find, he may show up and give himself a gift.
I look forward to giving you an insight into my inner principles and approaches as we embark on the journey together.”
