Robert Lee Davis

Robert is a multidisciplinary artist whose work is deeply rooted in the Australian landscape and the identity shaped by life within it.

Guided by Robert Rauschenberg’s idea that “a picture is more like the real world when it is made from the real world,” Robert incorporates both natural and manmade materials –earth pigments, found objects, and elements from local flora – into his tactile, intuitive process.

His art reflects on the complex relationship between humans and nature, celebrating the land’s beauty while urging us to consider our impact on it. Through each piece, Robert invites viewers to reconnect with the environment and reflect on their role in shaping its future.
