Tutor, Perfectly Imperfect

I’ll never forget the phone call inviting me to become a tutor with Take Two. I was excited to say yes and began developing my first course, Perfectly Imperfect.

The early process involved shaping the course outline and then working closely together during filming. This took place during the pandemic, in my old studio, and despite the challenges of the time, the experience was both demanding and deeply rewarding.

The support from the Take Two team was exceptional. Over four rounds of the course, along with ongoing community engagement and my involvement as a Friday Feature Artist, my connection with students grew stronger and more meaningful.

Becoming a tutor with Take Two was personally and professionally validating, and it gave me the financial means to demolish my old studio and create a new, purpose-designed workspace.

Since then, I’ve held a successful solo exhibition in Sydney, delivered international workshops, and expanded my teaching practice. My work has matured, my confidence has grown, and I remain deeply grateful for an opportunity that truly changed my life as an artist. I’m now in the process of creating my next online course with Take Two.
