Visual Narratives - Student Exhibition 2025

Rebecca Solnit writes about the process of being uncertain and ‘lost’ as an opportunity in realisation, positive transformation and finding a new way. A will to explore, to be able to get lost and then figure out a way back. This course has challenged and invited you to explore new interpretations of imagery. Processes and approaches have encouraged editing, transition and reassemblage. Visual Narratives has embedded ways to look at altered viewpoints and methods of modification.

Realigned

For the exhibition submission I am delighted to invite work which considers the theme of Realigned. Consider ideas around Transformation and new interpretations. Perhaps modification, a new format or a reorganisation. We also encourage you to review what you have created already as a starting point and inspiration for what you submit.

I am excited to see your work and I leave you with more from Rebecca Solnit in A Field Guide to Getting Lost: Not till we are completely lost or turned around...do we appreciate the vastness and strangeness of nature. Not till we are lost... do we begin to find ourselves and realise where we are.
